I have to try it myself.we was reluctant to promote the td50 as a better vst trigger platform compared to td30.otherwise I had already bought one. The Music Store employee mentioned some kind of problematic behavior, as mentioned The use of this whisper is, that the only remarkable advantage of td 50 is its improved dynamic resolution and more reliable trigger quality and more trigger zones on ride and snare, which should be reflected in a different midi output. I even tried clearing the MIDI notes in the presets to start from scratch. press F5 and you see the MIDI notes being sent. I have checked the TD50 MIDI setting _ go to KIT page. It is so weird - even looking at the keyboard at the bottom of Superior Drummer, I see the note when I hit the pad as a different one from the cymbal in the Superior Kit (they light up in orange. I go to Cymbal 1 - it is Blue because I selected it. Superior completely disregard and stick with the original note of whatever Mapping is on the Preset.Even removing the note will not help.įor example on Avatar: Crash 1 on my TD50 (note 55 G 3) is stuck at Cymbal 3 slot on Superior.
Let me explain: in any of the packs that I have I load the kit, when when trying to use the MIDI learn in both Mapping page or Construct page , They are stuck with whatever is set in Superior. Click on the instrument, press learn, hit the pad.
The MIDI learn function simply does not work for cymbals.
Tried in both Solo and as a VST in Reaper. Having problems with my TD50 and Superior. I have posted this to their forum.silence and curiously.
